On December 2, following the success of the 4th Press Gala in 2022, the Journalist & Public Opinion Newspaper, under the direction of the Vietnam Journalists Association , organized the 5th Press Gala in 2023, at the Military Radio and Television Center, Hanoi.
The 2023 Press Gala with a unique musical space called "Symphony from the Heart" and the highlight of the "Press Moments 2022" photo award ceremony will be a resonance between music and art, between culture and journalism, between enjoyment and appreciation... to contribute to honoring the impressive press photo works of 2022, respecting the dedication to hardship, the charge into danger of dedicated, delicate and responsible journalists.

Up to this point, it can be affirmed that the "Press Moments" Photo Award organized by the Journalist & Public Opinion Newspaper has had 5 successful seasons. According to the Organizing Committee, in the coming time, the Journalist & Public Opinion Newspaper will continue to innovate in the organization and the rules of the Award to aim for a more prestigious and larger-scale Award.

Launched from June 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023, the "Press Moments 2022" Photo Contest has attracted a large number of authors from central and local press agencies to participate in the Contest. The Organizing Committee has received hundreds of works with thousands of photos reflecting diverse slices of all aspects of the country's economic - political - social life over the past year. The richness of content and diversity of topics have shown and reflected part of the country's political, economic - social and cultural life...
With a spirit of fair and serious work, the Jury has selected 42 quality works for the Photo Exhibition list. From this list, the Jury continues to select the best works to award according to the following categories: Current Affairs Category: 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze; Social Life Category: 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze; Sports Category: 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze. Dividing the categories to award prizes is one of the new points of this year's Award Ceremony.
The "Press Moments 2022" photo award ceremony will be broadcast live on Vietnam National Defense Television channel, rebroadcast on Channel H2 of Hanoi Radio and Television at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023.
