Khanh Hoa Department of Justice trained more than 300 officials and civil servants working in civil status

On July 12, Khanh Hoa Department of Justice coordinated with the Department of Administrative Justice - Ministry of Justice to organize a training conference on civil status for more than 300 delegates who are leaders and civil servants working in civil status of the Department of Justice; leaders and civil servants performing tasks related to civil status of the People's Committees at the commune level in the province.

At the conference, officials and civil servants listened to the reporter from the Ministry of Justice convey 3 topics: Contents to note when performing civil status registration; instructions on using the new version of the electronic civil status registration and management information system; new regulations on the division of authority in the field of civil status. In particular, the reporter focused on key issues such as: Registration of changes, corrections, additions to civil status, re-identification of ethnicity; the process of receiving documents and returning results to the electronic one-stop shop when performing birth, marriage, death registration, confirmation of marital status; the process of correcting information errors, requesting cancellation of information from commune-level officials sending requests to the Department of Justice and vice versa.

At the conference, the reporter discussed, answered and guided to remove difficulties and obstacles of localities when performing household registration such as: Household registration software has not updated the registration books; from July 1, 2025, it is impossible to handle administrative procedures for people related to old data, because the data of communes, wards and towns has not been updated to the electronic household registration software; the household registration software connects birth registration but the Social Insurance and Police agencies do not receive the records; the software system often has errors, causing difficulties in processing records...

Through training, the team of civil servants performing tasks related to the field of civil status at the local level will master the professional process, consolidate knowledge, and systematize legal regulations on civil status work to properly handle administrative procedures at the local level for people when organizing and operating the 2-level local government apparatus.
