According to the report, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Social Insurance (SI) of Region V has closely followed the leadership and direction of the Vietnam Social Insurance and the Provincial People's Committee in implementing policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance (HI), and unemployment insurance (UI), thereby achieving positive results.
Specifically, the total revenue from social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance in the province is over 1,100 billion VND, an increase of over 314 billion VND over the same period in 2024, reaching over 46% of the plan assigned in 2025. The work of developing participants has also been actively implemented, in which the number of social insurance and unemployment insurance participants has increased.
The total amount of late payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance is 69.5 billion VND, accounting for 2.9% of the collection plan and decreasing by 15.1 billion VND compared to the same period in 2024. Other tasks such as: handling and managing beneficiaries of social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance; finance and payment of social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance; inspection and examination; handling petitions and complaints; administrative procedure reform, digital transformation, etc. have all been effectively implemented.
During the program, delegates also heard a summary report on the results of the emulation movements in the period of 2020-2025. Accordingly, in the period from 2020-2025, Social Insurance Region V organized emulation campaigns, concretizing emulation contents in the key areas of work of the industry, linking emulation with the implementation of assigned tasks. Notable emulation movements are: "Lang Son and the whole country join hands to build new rural areas"; "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind"... Emulation movements are associated with professional tasks such as: Emulation to develop participants and reduce social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance debts; emulation in propaganda, development of voluntary social insurance participants and emulation in deploying VssID - Social insurance number installation... Through emulation movements, many collectives and individuals have performed well, been highly appreciated, contributing to helping the unit successfully complete the assigned plan targets.
At the conference, delegates discussed and shared good models and effective methods, proposed key solutions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025. The conference also voted to elect delegates to attend the Vietnam Social Security Conference. and the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Finance Sector (2025 - 2030) .
On this occasion, Social Insurance Region V announced and awarded the commendation decisions of the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in work from 2023 to 2024. Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Director of Social Insurance Region V for their outstanding achievements in the Peak Month of propaganda and development of voluntary social insurance and family health insurance participants.
