In the video posted by Ferdinand, he and Carrick were chatting at a restaurant when Sir Alex, 83, suddenly appeared in the background. “What is this?” Sir Alex asked when he saw the filming equipment.

Carrick added: “We’re almost done, we don’t have to film for the boss.” Sir Alex smiled and replied humorously: “I’ll just sit here and listen to you guys talk nonsense.”
