According to The Athletic , all the final steps are being completed for Arsenal to announce the blockbuster deal of Viktor Gyokeres with a transfer fee of up to 63.5 million euros paid in advance, plus 10 million euros in activation fees.
Negotiations dragged on into the summer of 2025, with the two clubs arguing over the feasibility and terms of the bonus, but only minor adjustments remained before the deal was signed.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano used the familiar phrase "Here we go" to confirm the deal was completed on the evening of July 22. "A five-year contract, lasting until June 2030, has been prepared and is awaiting signing," Romano added.
