According to yeux1122 on Korean blog Naver, accessory suppliers are producing camera protection rings for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air in a variety of colors that match the paint finish, revealing the options that could come.
The iPhone 17 appears to come in black, silver, blue, green, and purple. This lines up with a previous report that revealed Apple was testing green and purple color options for the iPhone 17.
Meanwhile, the color versions of the iPhone 17 Air could be black, silver, gold, and blue, which is similar to recent rumors from leak sources Fixed Focus Digital and Majin Bu .
In the previous generation, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus came in black, white, pink, teal, and dark blue. With the iPhone 17, it looks like Apple will ditch pink and teal, replacing them with green and purple. Black, white, and dark teal may become black, silver, and blue, but the primary shades of these three core colors will essentially remain the same.
The iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to replace the iPhone 16 Plus, will switch to a more muted, Pro-style color option, which makes sense given Apple's repositioning of the iPhone in the lineup to a more premium segment with its signature ultra-thin design.
The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air are expected to launch alongside the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max next September.
