Officers of the Immigration Department, Provincial Police carry out procedures to grant level 2 electronic identification to foreigners living and working in Khanh Hoa . |
Accordingly, the subjects registering for electronic identification are mainly foreign workers working at enterprises and their relatives, individuals whose spouses are Vietnamese citizens. The registration age ranges from children 6 years old to people over 70 years old, concentrated mostly in the working age group. The initial implementation process encountered some difficulties, such as: Foreigners did not realize the importance of issuing electronic identification, did not fully understand the process and procedures; some were concerned about the security of personal information. However, thanks to the proactive spirit, the Immigration Department has actively promoted and guided foreign businesses and individuals to understand the practical benefits of level 2 electronic identification. This is not only a state management requirement but also brings many benefits to foreigners and businesses, especially in a highly integrated locality like Khanh Hoa. With the efforts of the staff and soldiers, Khanh Hoa is gradually completing the goal of granting level 2 electronic identification, contributing to improving management efficiency and international integration.
