This year, Cai Nuoc district has a total of 1,119 students participating in the high school graduation exam, including 693 students from Cai Nuoc High School and 426 students from Phu Hung High School. According to the current generaleducation program, the exam has a total of 4 subjects, of which 2 are compulsory subjects: Literature and Mathematics, and the remaining 2 subjects are for students to choose from the total number of subjects. This is one of the new points compared to the 2024 high school graduation exam. Therefore, immediately after finishing the 12th grade program, high schools have assigned experienced teachers to increase review to help students consolidate their knowledge and test-taking skills.
Grade 12 students at Cai Nuoc High School often use ChatGPT to improve their knowledge.
Mr. Diep Anh Tuan, Head of Biology - Technology Group, Cai Nuoc High School, said: "Based on the reference questions of the Ministry of Education and Training, the subject group compiles a question bank and guides students in reviewing. From there, teachers finalize the knowledge of the subject to review and do some mock tests to practice test-taking skills for students."
Student Hua Phuc Vinh, Grade 12A, Phu Hung High School, said: "This year's exam is conducted according to the 2018 General Education Program, with more new content than before, so I tried my best to study to get the highest score on the exam, enough points to be admitted to the military school."
Doan Ngoc Ty, a classmate, shared: “Right after finishing the 12th grade program, the school organized a review session. I tried hard to study to consolidate my knowledge and test-taking skills. In addition to the review time at school, I continued to review at home, determined to pass the graduation exam and meet the requirements to be admitted to the education sector, fulfilling my dream of becoming a teacher.”
In addition to reviewing the main course at school, students also use ChatGPT software to support their review process at home, considering it a powerful assistant to have more reference materials and to answer questions.
Diep Tuong Vi, Class 12A14, Cai Nuoc High School, shared: “With a 4G-connected smartphone, I can interact with ChatGPT at any time, without being limited by space and time, and be ready to answer questions creatively. However, sometimes the answers from ChatGPT are not really accurate, such as in terms of language and expression, so I check carefully, considering this as just a reference to improve my knowledge during the review process.”
In the era of strong development of 4.0 technology, students preparing for the high school graduation exam have more reference materials from ChatGPT, combined with review at school with enthusiastic guidance from teachers, students are more confident, ready to enter the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with the highest determination./.
