Regarding protection solutions for customers when making non-cash payments, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Huyen - Director of Sacombank's personal customer segment - said that Sacombank is committed to protecting customers in the digital payment environment through advanced technology solutions and strict operating procedures.
In addition to biometric authentication or digital signatures as prescribed by the State Bank, Sacombank pays special attention to upgrading its information technology infrastructure, strictly adhering to card data security principles, encrypting and protecting all online payment transactions of customers, and actively communicating measures to identify and prevent fraud.
In addition, Sacombank also deploys technologies such as eKYC, Tap to Phone and contactless payments to enhance user experience and minimize fraud risks.
Last year, Sacombank also achieved the highest level of PCI DSS security certification 4.0. This is the 11th consecutive year that Sacombank has been granted this certification, demonstrating Sacombank's efforts in enhancing information security and safety.

Sacombank has now synchronously deployed biometric data collection for corporate customers according to the provisions of Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN. As of early June, more than 50% of customers have completed biometric registration at Sacombank.

Cashless payment with smart transportationMs. Nguyen Phuong Huyen commented that besides the significance of passenger transport, the establishment of metro and upgrading of public transport systems in Ho Chi Minh City is a very good opportunity for cashless payment methods to become more familiar and widespread in people's lives. Sacombank has cooperated with HURC1 and Mastercard to deploy an automatic ticket payment system using Open-loop technology on metro line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien and the citywide bus system, allowing passengers to use any credit card, payment card, e-wallet and other contactless payment methods. Currently, Sacombank is the only unit in Vietnam to deploy this payment acceptance technology.
