Sa Pa: 1 victim found dead, suspected of drowning

Specifically, while traveling, Mr. Hau A Su, Den Thanh village, Ta Van commune discovered a body covered in sand, with two hands protruding at the hydroelectric dam area in Ta Chai Dao village.

Immediately after receiving the report, Ta Van Commune Police were present at the scene to make a record of the incident, protect the scene and report to Sa Pa Town Police.

The General Investigation Team (Sa Pa Town Police) coordinated with the Criminal Techniques Department (Provincial Police) to conduct an autopsy at the scene.

Through the autopsy, the victim was identified as Giang AC, born in 2005, residing in Ta Van Day 1 village, Ta Van commune, Sa Pa town; there was a lot of sand in the victim's throat, so the cause of death was determined to be drowning.

Ta Van commune police handed over the body to the victim's family for burial according to local customs.
