The turtle that strayed into a house in Ha Tinh is a rare species.
People in Ha Tinh discovered a rare golden turtle wandering into their yard and handed it over to the authorities.

On June 24, the Huong Khe District Forest Protection Department ( Ha Tinh ) coordinated with Vu Quang National Park to receive a rare golden turtle weighing nearly 0.2 kg handed over by a local resident. After inspection, experts determined that the turtle that strayed into Ms. Vo Thi Hong Trang's yard was a Cuora Mouhotii turtle. Scientifically named Cuora Mouhotii, the Cuora Mouhotii turtle is a wild animal listed as endangered, precious, and rare species in Group IIB, Decree 06/2019/ND-CP of the Government.
