Sharing with PNVN Newspaper, Thai An said that he was not too surprised when he was one of the national valedictorians of group A00 in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. "After finishing the exams, I compared them with the answers announced by the Ministry of Education and Training and also predicted the score I would get. And the person who looked up my exam scores was my mother, not me," Thai An shared.
Sharing her own experience in studying and taking exams to achieve high results, Thai An said that she often focuses on the knowledge taught by teachers in class. To avoid wasting time reviewing lessons, for each subject, Thai An tries to listen and understand the lesson right in class. This helps the female student have more time to search for outside knowledge to supplement the subject from online learning programs.
With a score of 30/30, Thai An has many choices in terms of major and university. However, the female student said that she has a clear direction for her future, which is to study at Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
Mr. Dinh Cao Thuong, homeroom teacher and Math teacher of class 12B1, Kim Son A High School, said that Thai An was the valedictorian of the school in grade 10.
Throughout his time at school, Thai An has always maintained excellent performance. He is the class monitor, always exemplary, responsible and active in all activities. Thai An has maintained excellent student performance for all 3 years of study, with a total score of over 9.00 in all subjects.
Not only is Thai An good in class, he also shows his outstanding ability in academic competitions. He is always in the top of the school in mock exams and has won many provincial awards. In particular, Thai An excels in natural sciences and English with IELTS 8.0. He also scored 123/150 points in the competency assessment exam.
Besides his academic achievements, Thai An also actively participates in school movements and was admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam last May.
