On the world market, on the morning of July 16, WTI oil price was trading at 66.8 USD/barrel, Brent oil was at 68.9 USD/barrel, down 1% compared to before.

Oil prices fell slightly after US President Donald Trump gave Russia an ultimatum to end the fighting in Ukraine within 50 days, a move that eased concerns about oil supply disruptions.

According to forecasts from petroleum companies, due to fluctuations in world oil prices, on July 17, there may be a slight decrease. Specifically, gasoline prices may decrease by 180 VND/liter, while oil prices fluctuate in opposite directions with an increase or decrease of about 50 VND/liter.
