Quang Nam: Passenger bus carrying more than 4,700 illegal firecrackers discovered

On the morning of October 30, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police said that they had just discovered a case of transporting a large quantity of illegal fireworks on a passenger bus.

Previously, at around 11:00 p.m. on October 29, at Km69+900 of National Highway 14B, through Thanh My town, Nam Giang district, a working group from the Traffic Police Department of Quang Nam Province inspected a 16-seat passenger van with license plate 43F-000.94 driven by Doan Van T. (born in 1984, residing in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai) heading from Kon Tum to Da Nang.

Illegal fireworks discovered by police on passenger bus

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was carrying 3 foam boxes containing 96 boxes of firecrackers (49 firecrackers/box, total 4,704 firecrackers). At the time of inspection, the driver could not present documents proving the origin of the firecrackers.

The Traffic Police Working Group has drawn up a record and handed it over to Nam Giang District Police for further investigation and settlement.
