Promoting 60 booths of clean agricultural products and food from Da Nang

DNO - On July 27, at the square of the Lien Chieu District Administrative Center, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District to organize the opening ceremony of the program to display and introduce Nam O fish sauce products, a typical OCOP product in 2024.

The program aims to introduce and promote Nam O fish sauce products, the potential and strengths of typical products of Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city to neighboring localities in Quang Nam province.

In addition, this is an opportunity for Nam O Fish Sauce Craft Village Association, cooperatives, enterprises, OCOP entities (each locality has 1 product) to exchange and promote craft village products, agricultural products, safe agricultural products, regional culinary specialties of their locality to tourists and local people.

At the same time, the activity also contributes to supporting and connecting the formation of a chain from production to consumption, sustainably developing OCOP products, typical products, and typical rural industrial products.

From there, this program will help raise awareness, build consumer confidence in the quality and brand of Vietnamese products, and effectively implement the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products".

At the event, many businesses and product owners expressed their joy and pride in introducing their products and local strengths to tourists and locals.

Ms. Tran Thi Xe, a member of Nam O fish sauce village, shared that in addition to introducing the unique products of Nam O sea area, the event also helps promote and promote trade connecting agricultural and food products of the two localities of Da Nang - Quang Nam.

Ms. Nguyen Kieu Anh, a member of Go Noi Green Agricultural Cooperative (Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province) said that this is an opportunity for her and other agricultural product businesses in Quang Nam province to get closer to people and tourists in Da Nang.

The program takes place over 3 days from March 27 to July 29 with a scale of 60 booths (30 booths from Da Nang, 30 booths from Quang Nam province), thereby expecting to promote the development of goods, contributing towards building a large-scale, high-value-added agriculture.

In addition to trade promotion activities, there are also events that accompany connecting values, understanding more about local characteristics and products such as: Women's Connection Program; Support for women to start up, innovate, create and transform green in 2024; "Choose the right price" program.
