From July 1, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) will officially take over, manage and supply electricity to all customers in the new Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Bui Trung Kien, Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC said that with the motto "Uninterrupted power, uninterrupted service", the Ho Chi Minh City electricity sector is committed to ensuring stable and continuous power supply and serving customers in the new area in a convenient and synchronous manner.

To help the Ho Chi Minh City electricity industry perform well in customer care and support detailed information about electricity services in the two areas of Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau (old), customers can contact the EVNHCMC customer care hotline at 1900545454 or email [email protected], EVNHCMC application or fanpage https://www.facebook.com/evnhcmc1900545454. Also from July 1, when paying electricity bills, customers should note to make payment through EVNHCMC's payment channels. In case of using automatic debit or payment authorization, people should proactively contact the bank to update payment information.

EVNHCMC also reminded people to be vigilant against calls impersonating electricity industry employees who are taking advantage of the merger process to commit fraud. “If you receive a call claiming to be from the electricity industry but the name, unit, or other suspicious signs are unclear, people should not provide personal information, bank accounts, or electricity usage data,” the electricity industry representative advised.

The conversion of the electricity management focal point not only ensures consistency in service provision after administrative merger, but is also a step forward in promoting digital transformation, focusing on customers, towards a more convenient, transparent and modern service experience.
