The owner, Bich Van, over 60 years old, quickly invited customers in, arranged seats, and walked around to make sure the tables were stocked with napkins and condiment trays. She was also the one who collected the money.

A bowl with a lot of toppings, including shrimp, some squid rings, squid rolls, char siu, wontons, quail eggs... The restaurant's seafood is fresh and delicious. The bright red shrimp are peeled, plump, and firm. The squid is white and crispy.
Side dishes include lettuce and celery. If customers want to add bean sprouts or chives, they can request it and the restaurant will serve it promptly.
The seafood dipping sauce is also a plus, prepared with a special recipe. When dipped, the seafood flavor is enhanced. The restaurant sells a separate bottle of seafood dipping sauce for 30,000 VND/jar.
Perhaps one of the reasons why the restaurant's shrimp and squid are fresh and delicious is because Ms. Bich Van's family used to be the owner of a seafood warehouse on Luong Van Can Street (Vung Tau), specializing in providing ingredients for large restaurants and hotels.
"Rebirth" after the COVID-19 pandemic
In Vung Tau, there are many long-standing and popular noodle shops for noodle soup alone, such as Cali Old Man's Squid Noodles, Hoang Hoa Tham Squid Noodles, Thuan Phuc Noodles, Ong Map Squid Noodles...
Noodle shop No. 7 has only been open for 4 years but is becoming more and more known, the business is gradually becoming stable, showing the business acumen and hard work of a local family in Vung Tau on the journey of "overcoming difficulties".

"The COVID-19 outbreak has made the seafood business difficult. When we were in a difficult situation, a younger brother discussed with my family about opening a restaurant selling seafood noodles and beef stew to earn some money. After a while, for personal reasons, the younger brother withdrew his capital. Beef stew was not a popular choice for customers, so we temporarily stopped selling," Ms. Van said.
The restaurant named Hu Tieu No. 7 is her home address on Luong Van Can Street. Later, this house had to be sold to solve economic difficulties.
She bought back the house she was living in and "revived" the restaurant with its old name. In addition, the family continued to maintain a small seafood warehouse right in the restaurant.
