Pleiku Ward tests the meeting mechanism of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Party Committee

(GLO)- On the morning of June 27, the Pleiku Ward Party Committee (Gia Lai Province) held a conference to pilot the operation of the Standing Conference, the Standing Committee, and the Ward Party Executive Committee to prepare for the official operation of the two-level local government model from July 1, 2025.

The conference was organized in accordance with Official Dispatch No. 4593-CV/TU dated June 23, 2025 of the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee on the pilot operation of the meeting mechanism of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee at the new commune level and the conference programs of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the new commune level.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing, contributing opinions and agreeing on many important contents under their authority, such as: Draft Working Regulations of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; Draft Resolution on assigning tasks to Party Committee members and Standing Committee members in charge of fields and areas; Draft Decision on establishing, regulating functions and tasks of specialized agencies, advisory and support departments; Draft Project on establishing grassroots Party organizations and Party organizations under the Ward Party Committee; Proposed agenda for conferences on July 1, 2025 of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward after the rearrangement of administrative units.

The organization of the trial operation conference demonstrates the proactive and serious spirit of the Pleiku Ward Party Committee in implementing the model of organizing the local government apparatus in the direction of streamlining, effective and efficient operation; contributing to ensuring a continuous and stable transition in leadership, management and operation after the merger of administrative units.
