Lang Ward visits and shows gratitude to policy families

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 21, the Standing Committee of Lang Ward Party Committee organized 3 working delegations to visit, give gifts and express gratitude to policy families and meritorious people in the area.

Accordingly, Party Secretary, Chairman of Lang Ward People's Council Nguyen Hong Dan came to burn incense for Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Xoay (lane 1194 Lang street); visited, presented gifts, and expressed gratitude to the family of Mr. Pham Van Tuan, son of martyr Pham Van Thuan - the only son of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Xoay.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Lang Ward Party Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Hien came to burn incense for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ngo Thi Thom (lane 1150 Lang street); visited, gave gifts, and expressed gratitude to the family.

At the families they visited, comrade Nguyen Hong Dan and Nguyen Thi Minh Hien gave gifts and kindly asked about the health and life of families with meritorious services and families with preferential policies; at the same time, expressed deep gratitude for the contributions, sacrifices and losses of generations of fathers and brothers in the cause of fighting for national independence and protecting the Fatherland.

The Party Committee, government and people of Lang ward always remember the merits; care for and look after the material and spiritual life of policy families and meritorious people; at the same time, hope that families continue to promote the tradition of patriotism, encourage their children to be exemplary, and actively contribute to the process of construction and development.

Receiving the affection of the ward leaders, representatives of the families expressed their emotion at the thoughtful care of the Party Committee, government, departments, branches and unions of Lang ward who encouraged visits and gave gifts on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day; contributing to taking care of the material and spiritual life of policy families to be better and better.

On the same afternoon, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Ward Nguyen Thanh Tung came to burn incense for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Nguyen Thi Ty, Nguy Thi Kieu, Nguyen Thi Tuy; at the same time, visited, presented gifts, and expressed gratitude to their families.

On this occasion, Lang ward also organized a visit to the martyrs cemetery in Hanoi city; offered incense at two steles and memorials of heroic martyrs; lit candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; provided health check-ups and medicine for people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs...
