Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long inspects preparations for high school graduation exams in Hai Phong

(PLVN) - On the afternoon of June 25, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long inspected preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam at the Hong Bang High School exam site in Hai Phong City.

At the Hong Bang High School exam site, the Deputy Prime Minister encouraged the candidates as they listened to the dissemination of the exam regulations and instructions on exam procedures. The Deputy Prime Minister also reminded them to take care of their health, eat well, rest properly, and review their knowledge to be ready to enter the exam with the best mindset...

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long wished the candidates to be calm, confident, and to make full use of their abilities to achieve high test results, worthy of their efforts in studying and reviewing.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong reported that this year, the city has 49 examination sites with 1,240 examination rooms, serving more than 29,200 candidates. Hai Phong has mobilized about 3,800 officials, civil servants and public employees to participate in organizing the examination and 400 officials to do the marking work.

More than 29,000 Hai Phong candidates ready for the exam

To ensure the exam takes place seriously and safely, the Hai Phong Departmentof Education and Training has organized training on Exam Regulations for leaders of the Departments of Education and Training, Principals, Vice Principals, heads of exam sites and all staff working on the exam.

Regarding the printing, transporting and securing of exam papers, the City Examination Council has established 5 transport teams, including police, supervisors and related members. The exam papers are kept in sealed boxes, with a record of delivery and receipt made under the witness of police and inspectors.

All testing sites have separate rooms to store test papers and questions, which are kept in separate, sealed cabinets with cameras installed to monitor the entire area.

With careful preparation and close coordination between sectors and localities, the Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee affirmed that Hai Phong City is ready to ensure that the 2025 high school graduation exam is held safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations.

Working with relevant agencies on exam preparations, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long said that this year's exam is quite special, and one of the most special features is that it takes place in the context of a state transition, from a 3-level local government to a 2-level one.

The examination phase takes place when there is a 3-level government, while the grading and announcement phase takes place at the 2-level government. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the ultimate responsibility of agencies, organizations and each individual in the 3-level government system is being maintained until July 1.

"Whose responsibility is it, how is it assigned, who should we call when there is an incident, there should not be any gaps in responsibility for any work or area. When there is an incident, there must be management, supervision and accountability," the Deputy Prime Minister stated. "Whatever we do, we must also ensure the atmosphere and environment with a sense of responsibility so that students can do their best, confidently and honestly."

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, this exam is a test for cadres and party members in terms of their sense of responsibility, trying to complete well to contribute to creating momentum for the transition from 3-level local government to 2-level in carrying out many other important and urgent tasks.

The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that "everyone plays a part" in promoting a high sense of responsibility, being proactive, and trying to ensure that the exam takes place safely and effectively, without any incidents.
