On June 26, the Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , term 2025-2030, opened at the Hanoi Opera House with the participation of 248 official delegates, representing nearly 3,000 party members from 58 grassroots party organizations under the Party Committee of the Ministry.
The Congress identified the theme: "Building a clean and strong grassroots Party organization; solidarity, discipline, responsibility; innovation; decisive action, aspiration for dedication" and the spirit: "Culture is the foundation - Information is the conduit - Sports is the strength - Tourism is the connecting bridge."

Developing cultural industry, breakthrough in tourism, transformation in sports
Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh suggested that in the 2025-2030 term, the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism should continue to inherit the achieved results, have solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings to better perform assigned tasks; thoroughly grasp and effectively implement resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee and laws of the State; strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels in implementing tasks of developing culture, sports and tourism.
At the same time, continue to innovate creative thinking, strategic vision, "look far, look wide, think deeply, do big things"; value time, make decisions at the right time; choose focus, key points, do each job and finish it in the spirit of 6 clear "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear product, clear authority".
Promote the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance, self-improvement, proactiveness, creativity, responsibility, overcome limitations, overcome challenges, maximize the potential, strengths, intelligence and mettle of the Vietnamese people.
Build an open mechanism to unblock, mobilize and utilize all resources; focus on attracting resources in society, contributions from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals.
Do a good job of propaganda and raise awareness of the position, role and importance of culture, sports and tourism in building national unity and the overall development of the country.
Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh also proposed a number of key tasks, including suggesting that the Congress continue to improve the quality of Party building work, a clean and strong political system; build legal policies to promote the development of cultural industry, entertainment industry, breakthroughs in tourism, and changes in sports in the spirit of "increasing national soft power through culture, from culture."

At the Congress, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung affirmed that the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2025-2030 term took place in the context of the country facing new development opportunities, but also many challenges.
According to the Minister, the Congress takes place at a time when the Party, the State and the entire political system have been synchronously implementing historic policies and strategic breakthroughs to bring the country firmly into a new era - an era of strong and prosperous development, with the highlight being the revolutions in the organization of the political system to be streamlined, strong, effective, efficient and effective; implementing the 2-level local government model; developing science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; promoting international integration; developing the private economy is a key lever, creating new opportunities for the strong development of the country in general, and the Ministry and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in particular in the new period.
The above modern requirements require the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to always "keep the rhythm" and create "new rhythms."

The Congress reviewed and evaluated the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; focused on discussing and contributing opinions to draft documents submitted to Party Congresses at all levels; proposed directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term, meeting the requirements of industry development in the new situation.
The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2025-2030 term consists of 32 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee consists of 9 comrades.
Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, Party Secretary, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2025-2030 term.
Comrade Le Hai Binh, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Comrade Nguyen Tuan Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism were appointed as Deputy Secretaries.
The Congress also announced the decision to appoint 10 delegates from the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to attend the first Government Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term./.
