Working with leaders of communes and 2 districts, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc emphasized a number of important requirements in the transition period. Specifically: The commune preparatory committees must promote their central role, urging the implementation of tasks; must maintain political stability and administrative discipline throughout the transition process; ensure consistency, smoothness and efficiency from the provincial to the communal level; put people at the center of service, not letting the merger process affect public interests and services.

Regarding the organization and personnel, it is necessary to ensure the correct procedures, objectivity, right people, right jobs. The facilities and information technology infrastructure must be completed and handed over on time, including: Arrangement of headquarters, information technology equipment, new seals, testing of software, LAN, digital signature, online meeting room... absolutely no interruption in operation.

On June 22, the new commune-level agencies and public administrative service centers will be tested. Communes need to step up propaganda so that people understand the policy of merging and operating the new commune level, creating high consensus.
