The movie version of "Kaleidoscope" (directed by Vo Thanh Hoa) released a trailer with the participation of the old cast, reminiscent of the TV series 20 years ago.

The video released on the evening of December 9th opens with the scene of the trio Hanh (Anh Dao), Quy Rom (Ngoc Trai), Tieu Long (Vu Long) from the TV version visiting their old school. The flashback takes the group of friends back 20 years, during a senior summer vacation. Many other characters from the TV version appear, such as Luom - Tieu Long's cousin, and Tac Ke Bong - the "arch-rival" of the male students of Tu Do School.

The trailer introduces many details selected from the two volumes. Catch the frangipani and The Grave and the Ghost . The scene where Tieu Long lost the fight with Tac Ke Bong was recreated, which was the situation that sparked the conflict between the group of friends. In addition to the three young actors of the movie version - Hung Anh (Quy Rom), Nhat Linh (Tieu Long), Phuong Duyen (Hanh), the film also has the participation of many veteran artists: Trung Dan, Thanh Loc, Dai Nghia.

Vo Thanh Hoa has been nurturing the idea of making a film for four years, saying that the original story by Nguyen Nhat Anh was his bedside book in middle school. He said he would not remake the TV version but write an independent story, mixing many genres, from comedy - romance to thriller - suspense.

When writing the script, he met with writer Nguyen Nhat Anh to better understand the work. The writer did not interfere with the idea or the filming process because he respected the film crew. The crew chose actors for more than half a year, with tens of thousands of applications.

Kaleidoscope is a series of novels written by Nguyen Nhat Anh in the 1990s and 2000s. The series consists of 54 volumes, revolving around the joys and sorrows of students, mischief, and meaningful life lessons. The story consists of three characters: Quy Rom - a genius in Math, Physics, and Chemistry at Tu Do School, Tieu Long - a second-degree black belt Taekwondo student with a chivalrous personality, and Hanh - the "electronic brain" of the group, who loves to read, is gentle, and patient.

In 2004, the TV version adapted by directors Nguyen Minh Chung and Do Phu Hai was broadcast, creating a fever with audiences of many generations. Actors Ngoc Trai, Anh Dao, and Vu Long later became beloved faces, sought after by many directors.
