Water company fined for not publishing water quality testing index

According to information from the Hanoi Department of Health , on October 17, the Department Inspectorate issued a decision to summarize administrative sanctions from September 30 to October 11 for 9 private medical and pharmaceutical establishments and food safety in the capital with a total fine of nearly 223 million VND.

In particular, Hanoi Clean Water Production and Trading Joint Stock Company No. 3 (8C Dinh Cong Trang, Phan Chu Trinh Ward, Hoan Kiem District) did not publicly disclose the test results of water quality parameters as prescribed for each test. For the above violation, the Hanoi Department of Health Inspectorate decided to fine the company 25 million VND.

Three establishments were fined VND45 million for advertising cosmetics without having the content verified by a competent state agency before advertising, specifically: MH Authentic Company Limited (Nam Tu Liem District); Quang Nguyen Investment, Trade and Service Company Limited (Gia Lam District) and Phu Thuong Joint Stock Company Limited (Tay Ho District).

The medical examination and treatment facility of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luong (No. 205 Hoang Van Thai, Khuong Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District) was fined over 35 million VND for examining and treating patients beyond the scope of professional activities stated in the medical examination and treatment practice certificate; not complying with the diagnosis and treatment instructions of the practitioner.

In addition, Mr. Luong was also deprived of his right to use his practice certificate for 23 months.

Next, Mat Troi Pharmaceutical Import-Export Joint Stock Company (village 1, Dong My commune, Thanh Tri district) was fined 12 million VND for not having separate arrangements according to the law for storage of raw materials, finished products, preliminary processing, processing, packaging, toilets, hand washing, changing protective clothing and related auxiliary areas.

Dang Thi Le Hang Pharmacy (No. 79, Group 4, Phu Do Ward, Nam Tu Liem District) was fined VND 7.5 million for not submitting a request for periodic assessment of maintaining compliance with good retail pharmacy practices as prescribed by law.

Phuong Hoang Restaurant and Event Company Limited (lot CX14 - Linh Dam new urban area, Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district) was fined 4 million VND for failing to ensure cross-contamination prevention between unprocessed and processed foods in the kitchen layout.

Galant General Internal Medicine Clinic, a branch of Gcare Community Health Care Company Limited (2nd floor, No. 15, Lane 143 Trung Kinh, Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District) was fined 4 million VND and had its doctor's practice certificate revoked for 2 months for not creating medical records and medical records according to the form prescribed by law.
