Ca Mau Fertilizer pays 30% dividend

Ca Mau PVCFC's Board of Directors has approved a dividend of 30% of charter capital, equivalent to VND 3,000 per share.

At the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, held on June 12, the Board of Directors of Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) and shareholders finalized the dividend payment rate of 30% of charter capital. Dividends will be paid within 3 months after the meeting according to the company's dividend policy.

This year, the company plans to have a total revenue of nearly VND13,500 billion and a pre-tax profit of nearly VND1,500 billion. Of which, the production target is more than 880,000 tons of urea equivalent, 160,000 tons of NPK. In terms of business output, urea is expected to be 760,000 tons, urea-based products 100,000 tons, NPK 160,000 tons and self-traded fertilizer 211,000 tons.

The Congress also re-appointed Mr. Van Tien Thanh as a member of the Board of Directors - General Director of the company, and elected Mr. Le Canh Khanh as the company's controller.

Shareholders also voted 100% for the proposal to amend and supplement the Gas Purchase and Sale Contract with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, in order to increase the legal basis for PVCFC regarding gas supply and gas prices in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Van Tien Thanh shared about the company's 6 key target groups: production, business, research and development, investment cooperation to expand business, human resource development and digital transformation. In particular, he emphasized the issue of operating the Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant to ensure efficiency, safety and stability; improve and diversify raw materials and products, improve quality, and increase product differentiation for consumers.

Regarding business activities, the leaders proposed to effectively maintain traditional markets and develop international business; research and develop new products following green agricultural trends such as soluble NPK, foliar fertilizers in addition to organic microorganisms, high-tech farming solutions... The company will transform digitally, increase the application of IT in production, business, administration and communication activities.

In the medium and long term, the company aims to increase the sales volume of fertilizer products by 6-10% per year, improve revenue growth rate by 5-10% per year; strive to be one of the five leading business units in Southeast Asia in terms of revenue by 2025.

Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company is an enterprise operating in the field of fertilizer production and trading. In 2022, PVCFC's consolidated revenue and profit reached record levels, respectively more than 16,200 billion VND and nearly 4,600 billion VND.
