Captain Roman Gladky, Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Army's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems Command, has been dismissed just two months after his appointment.

According to private TV channel 112 Ukraine , a source from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense revealed that the reason Captain Gladky was dismissed was because of suspicions that his relatives had ties to Russia.
Previously, from September 4, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian army Oleksandr Stanislavovych Syrskyi temporarily suspended Mr. Gladky's position while the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) checked the relations of this captain's relatives with Russia.
Meanwhile, RBK-Ukraine quoted a well-informed source as saying that Mr. Gladky's replacement is Colonel Oleksiy Halabuda - former Commander of the 28th Independent Mechanized Brigade.
Notably, Ukrainian media reported that Captain Gladky was also suspected of treason. Accordingly, this officer had crossed the border into Russia during the conflict between Kiev and Moscow.
The SBU stated that they did not conduct a check on Roman Gladky before appointing him to the position of Chief of Staff of the UAV Systems Command because it was not stipulated by law.
Regarding the Ukraine conflict, on October 23, at the 16th BRICS Summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping called on member countries to adhere to three principles to de-escalate the Ukraine crisis as soon as possible.
The three principles outlined include: no expansion of the battlefield, no escalation of the conflict, and no provocative actions from any side.
