The torch relay of Linh Na and the members of the team received a lot of compliments on social networks for showing the uniformity and neatness of the group as well as the solemnity and magnificence of the national holiday.
"To complete the assigned task, we have been practicing non-stop regardless of sun or rain, even day or night, for over a month.
The fire-calling and torch-carrying ceremony is a sacred ceremony, so each individual in the block must move in unison, precisely according to the prescribed formation and rhythm.
From the first days of training, everyone had to show their spirit, demeanor and steps had to be strong and professional. Because they were runners, many of them had sore legs, but no one gave up. Everyone tried their best to contribute to the overall success of the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2nd," athlete Linh Na expressed.

Nguyen Linh Na (born in 1997, from Phu Tho ) is an athlete of the Army Sports Delegation, holding the rank of Captain. Linh Na is known as the "steel rose of Vietnamese athletics" when she won two consecutive gold medals in the women's heptathlon at the 31st and 32nd SEA Games, breaking the 17-year-old national record in this sport with a score of 5,415 (the old record was 5,350 points set by senior Nguyen Thi Thu Cuc at the 23rd SEA Games).
"The SEA Games gold medal is the greatest title in our athletes' lives, but being able to participate and contribute my small part to the country's great holiday is an honor that I will never forget. As everyone says, I can... cherish it for the rest of my life," said the athlete born in 1997.
The successes in her career have helped Linh Na be honored as the Outstanding Young Face of the entire army, receiving a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister as well as many certificates of merit from the Ministry of National Defense . That is also the reason why she was chosen to be in the torch relay team at the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2.

"The recent A80 holiday was truly a special occasion, not only to commemorate but also to remind everyone of the sacrifice, solidarity and indomitable spirit of the nation.
On such occasions, what moves me the most is when I hear stories from veterans, living witnesses who have gone through the war. Some people say that during the fierce days, they only wished for a full meal, a peaceful night's sleep without bombs and bullets.
Yet today, when immersed in the festival atmosphere, seeing the young generation waving red flags with yellow stars, chanting revolutionary songs, they shed tears, tears of pride and satisfaction.
There was a small but memorable detail: the image of children wearing red scarves and giving flowers to veterans. That moment brought tears to my eyes, tears of gratitude as an affirmation that future generations will never forget the sacrifices of previous generations who sacrificed their blood and bones to have peace and independence like today," athlete Linh Na emotionally expressed.
