Besides Le Viktor, another player who also performed well in the match against U23 Bangladesh was Thanh Nhan. This player did not participate in the U23 Southeast Asian tournament in July due to injury, but now he has appeared in the U23 Vietnam team and played impressively.

Coach Kim Sang Sik shared: “Thanh Nhan has an impressive performance, especially his ability to move behind the opponent's defense. There are still two matches ahead, I hope he will play even better.”

“Overall, U23 Vietnam created many scoring opportunities, but were unlucky because the ball hit the goal, their goalkeeper also played well and blocked many of our shots. U23 Vietnam needs to improve their finishing ability,” said coach Kim Sang Sik.

After the match with U23 Bangladesh, the U23 Vietnam team will face Singapore and Yemen, respectively, on September 6 and 9. Regarding these matches, coach Kim Sang Sik commented: "I watched the match between Yemen and Singapore, their biggest problem is physical strength."

“The hot weather has greatly affected their performance. I think the teams in Group C are of similar level. Therefore, we will have to prepare carefully for the next matches,” coach Kim Sang Sik added.

Regarding the U23 Bangladesh team, coach Saiful Bari Titu of this team said: “U23 Vietnam is very strong. I think they are the strongest team in this group. U23 Bangladesh lost to U23 Vietnam simply because we are weaker.”

“We need to get good results in the next matches against U23 Yemen and U23 Singapore. We must win the remaining two matches if we want to qualify for the final round of the U23 Asian Cup,” coach Saiful Bari Titu affirmed.

After the match with U23 Bangladesh, U23 Vietnam temporarily leads Group C with 3 points, equal to U23 Yemen, but we are temporarily ranked higher thanks to a better secondary index than our opponent. On September 6, U23 Vietnam will meet U23 Singapore at 7:00 p.m.
