All educational institutions across the country simultaneously saluted the flag and sang the National Anthem at the opening ceremony of the new school year, listened to the General Secretary 's instructions and congratulations for the new school year, and heard the sound of the school drum.

Representing students across the country, Kieu Tuan Dinh, a student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, said that to have today, with favorable conditions and open opportunities, there have been many generations of dedicated labor, fighting and sacrifice. Today's young generation not only needs will and determination, but also must be equipped with intelligence, courage and new capacity to overcome the challenges of globalization and fierce technological competition.

Over the past 80 years, the education and training sector has developed in a direction that both inherits tradition and integrates internationally, creating Vietnam's own identity and values.

At Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School (Phuc Loi Ward, Hanoi), when the flag-raising ceremony took place at the National Convention Center, through the small screen, teachers and students of the school also joined in the sacred moment with 26 million students nationwide.

Entering first grade, many students are still a bit shy and hesitant when meeting new friends and new teachers.

Under the encouragement of teachers, the students quickly integrated into the new learning environment.

At Dong Da Secondary School (Kim Lien Ward, Hanoi), the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year was solemnly and thoughtfully organized.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the education sector's tradition and the opening of the new school year, after the ceremony, the school also organized many exciting activities for students.

Students enjoyed trying out the folk game of bamboo dancing.
