Pursuant to Decision No. 2268/QD-BVHTTDL dated August 8, 2024 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism approving the List and Budget Estimate for 2025 tasks of the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts; At the request of the Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition; Director of the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts...; The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision to organize the "Mid-Autumn Festival - 2025.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize the "Mid-Autumn Festival - 2025".
The activities in the Mid-Autumn Festival - 2025 will accompany children to dreams, magical stories, and future aspirations; contributing to perfecting the personality of Vietnamese people, preserving the national cultural identity. At the same time, this is not only an opportunity for adults to show their care for children, an opportunity for reunion, but also a playground that brings joy and happiness, so that children have the opportunity to learn about the traditional customs of the nation. The happy moments, games and activities with family and friends will be beautiful memories for them.
Many exciting activities at the Mid-Autumn Festival – 2025
The Mid-Autumn Festival - 2025 will be held from October 2 to October 5, 2025 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts with exciting activities such as: Making traditional handicraft products, making Mid-Autumn toys. Artisans from traditional craft villages will introduce and guide children to create traditional toys from simple materials but containing the passion and effort of artisans with a deep love for the traditional culture of their homeland: pottery, crocheting, printing folk paintings - color painting, hand-woven strings, making scented wax, making lanterns on Do paper, drawing bamboo dragonflies, molding clay figurines, making moon cakes...;
Children are trained to perform with suitable circus skills such as: riding a unicycle; balancing on rollers, balls, bamboo ladders; stilts, juggling, hula hooping; artistic balloons...; Participate in sports and physical games such as: Performing, riding a balance bike; organizing mini racing tournaments; Experiencing and competing in chess; Performing, practicing lion dance...; Having fun with outdoor exercise equipment: inflatable houses, trampolines, sand play pools...
In addition, the Organizing Committee also displays special check-in spaces such as: "Book pages with childhood" exhibition area, displaying and introducing good book pages, guiding children to love reading and books.
In particular, the check-in area is decorated in a folk style, imbued with identity with traditional Mid-Autumn toys: lion heads, papier-mâché masks, paper doctors, lanterns, frog drums, cotton swans, fruit trays... with brilliant colors, which will bring children many emotions about childhood and origin. At the same time, creating an automatic photo booth space, with themed settings such as "Sister Hang's Fashion Shop", "Uncle Cuoi's Grocery Store", "Secrets of Mid-Autumn Festival" creates fun, unique photos that bring joy and interaction to participants.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also organizes competitions and exhibitions of children's paintings on the theme "Mid-Autumn Festival in My Eyes"; Competitions and exhibitions of digital paintings on the theme of Mid-Autumn Festival with the participation of young artists and art students; Fashion design competition on the theme "Designing costumes for Ms. Hang and Mr. Cuoi to attend the festival"; Competition to display five-fruit trays to welcome the Moon...
At the same time, organize rich art programs for children such as: Circus, Puppetry, Variety, Comedy; special music and dance programs for children; Children's music and dance - fashion programs; Organize a costume festival: Children transform into their favorite characters such as Cuoi, Hang Nga... are colorful and interesting activities, helping children to be creative, explore and express their rich imagination. The highlight is the Full Moon Festival - street parade, lantern procession, lion dance, moon-watching party, making the festival atmosphere more exciting, attracting the attention and interest of children, contributing to creating a unique feature for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that the "Mid-Autumn Festival - 2025" must be organized with traditional characteristics, organized with diverse, meaningful and practical content, ensuring safety and effectiveness, creating a healthy, attractive and completely free playground for teenagers and children.
The Chief of Office of the Ministry, Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Director of the Vietnam Cultural and Art Exhibition Center and Heads of participating units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
