Sa Pa is brilliant all year round with a landscape that changes with the seasons: Spring has plum and peach blossoms in full bloom; summer has green rice fields mixed with the silvery light of morning dew; autumn has golden terraced fields; winter is hazy in the clouds, sometimes even covered in white snow - a rare sight in the tropics.
The bustling highland markets also contribute to the attractiveness of Sa Pa. The combination of majestic nature and unique culture makes Sa Pa worthy of being one of the most prominent mountain destinations in Asia.

The leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lao Cai province commented: "Sa Pa being honored in the top mountainous destinations in Asia not only affirms the attraction of Sa Pa on the international tourism map, but is also an opportunity for the locality to continue promoting its image and improving service quality."
Ms. Giang Thi Hoa, a homestay owner in Cat Cat village, said: “More tourists come, we have more income, and our children have the opportunity to study. People are also more aware of preserving their identity and environment so that Sa Pa becomes more beautiful in the eyes of international friends.”
