Speed ​​up disbursement of public investment capital for key projects and works

On the afternoon of September 8, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan chaired the regular meeting of August 2025 to evaluate the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee; the results of implementing socio-economic development targets in August and deploying tasks for September 2025.

Attending the conference were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and units of the province.

In August 2025, the province's socio -economic situation has developed, with some sectors and fields increasing significantly compared to the same period in 2024. Notably, the economy maintained its growth momentum; the plan to plant crops has basically met the plan, and the output of some key crops remains at a good level.

Industrial production index is estimated to increase by 11.1% over the same period; cumulative increase in 8 months is 12.3% over the same period.

Total retail sales of goods and export turnover are estimated at over VND 15,970 billion, up 15.9% over the same period; accumulated 8 months are estimated at VND 122,406.5 billion, reaching 67% of the plan, up 13.8% over the same period.

Total state budget revenue in the first 8 months of 2025 reached VND 10,574 billion, equal to 78.92% of the central budget estimate and 64.83% of the provincial budget estimate, up 17.06% over the same period.

Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Thi Nguyen Thao chaired the discussion at the conference.

Many cultural, festival and sports events take place enthusiastically, contributing to attracting a large number of tourists to the province and promoting the development of service industries.

The number of newly established enterprises continues to increase sharply compared to the same period (estimated increase of 52.2% in 8 months). The investment attraction situation has improved, with many investors coming to learn about investment in the province.

The operation of two-level local government is monitored and supported promptly; focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles and handling backlog and prolonged projects.

Besides, the quality of cultural and social activities has been improved; social security policies and regimes have been fully and promptly implemented; and people's lives have been improved.

Political security and social order and safety are maintained, creating favorable conditions for economic development.

In addition to positive results, the socio-economic situation of the province in August 2025 still has some shortcomings and limitations such as: the disease situation in livestock and poultry is increasingly complicated, especially African swine fever; deforestation and illegal encroachment of forest land still occur; production and business activities of enterprises still face many difficulties, the number of dissolved and temporarily suspended enterprises is still high; some revenue sources are still lower than planned; the progress of disbursement of public investment capital has not met requirements...

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan requested all levels and sectors to be highly focused, determined, resolute, and closely follow the directions of the Central Government and the province to organize and implement the highest targets and tasks of the plan. In particular, proactively review the results of the implementation of targets and plans for 2025 in the fields under the management of the sector and locality, especially the targets that are still low, to have specific solutions to restore and develop in order to achieve the set targets and plans.

At the same time, be more drastic in site clearance; speed up the disbursement of public investment capital for key projects and national target programs. Timely remove difficulties and obstacles, speed up the implementation of projects, especially key and inter-regional projects.

In addition, it is necessary to closely monitor developments, proactively and promptly implement tasks of natural disaster prevention and control; continue to fully and promptly implement policies to ensure social security; carefully prepare conditions in terms of facilities, equipment and teaching staff to serve teaching and learning for the new school year; promote and substantially improve administrative reform; proactively grasp the situation, ensure security, social order and safety.
