Specifically, the project will renovate and restore the works in King Tu Duc's tomb such as: Hoa Khiem Palace, Minh Khiem Duong, On Khiem Duong, the citadel - Vu Khiem gate - the screen in front of Vu Khiem and embellish the technical infrastructure system of the tomb. With a total investment of nearly 100 billion VND. Although it is in the process of being renovated, in recent days this relic has still welcomed hundreds of visitors. "I visited some of the king's tombs before coming to Tu Duc's tomb. This is a tomb with the most beautiful architecture I have ever known, with the architecture and arrangement of the tomb quite neat and majestic. In particular, what impressed me was the system of lakes and trees surrounding the tomb", Mr. Dang Ngoc Nghia (32 years old, tourist from Hanoi ) shared.
Tu Duc Tomb was started in 1864 and basically completed in 1873. The project was built on an area of 12 hectares, located in Thuy Xuan Ward, Hue City (Thua Thien - Hue).

Seen from above, the architecture of Tu Duc Tomb exudes majesty but still has a gentle, airy and poetic feel to it, with the rustling green pine forest and lake surrounding the tomb.

In addition to being a burial place when he passed away, this was also a place where King Tu Duc came to rest, read books, recite poems... so the landscape of the mausoleum resembles a large park. In the picture is Tinh Khiem Island, this area was built for the king to travel, sightsee, read books and write poems.
