Hanoi: Deploying fire prevention and fighting data for 2,000 facilities

From September 10, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 31 (Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Hanoi City Police) coordinated with the People's Committees of Dai Thanh, Nam Phu, Ngoc Hoi communes and Thanh Liet ward to organize 5 conferences to deploy instructions on updating information of facilities under management, serving the construction of a national database on fire prevention and fighting.

Accordingly, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 31 trained about 2,000 establishments including agencies, enterprises, business households, and households combining production and business in Dai Thanh, Nam Phu, Ngoc Hoi communes and Thanh Liet ward.

At the conferences, the reporters disseminated regulations on the responsibility for reporting, periodically updating data on fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue, and connecting fire alarm transmission equipment in accordance with legal regulations. The training organizing committee also discussed and resolved problems, and at the same time oriented the coordination mechanism between the facility and the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting, Rescue and Rescue Police force for synchronous and effective implementation.

The fire prevention, firefighting and rescue database system introduced at the conference has the ability to connect synchronously and quickly from the facility to the firefighting units; provide complete information on the location, scale, means and equipment of fire prevention and fighting of each facility; integrate on digital maps to serve the work of early detection, timely handling of fire and explosion incidents and meet the requirements of building a digital government and digital society.

Speaking at the conferences, Major Nguyen Van Quang, Deputy Head of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 31, thoroughly explained the regulations on state management in the field of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue. At the same time, he disseminated the obligations of establishments in declaring and updating basic information into the software of the national database system on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue; and was responsible for the accuracy of the declared data. This is a key task to realize the policy of digitizing and modernizing state management in fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue.
