On the evening of June 8, during a livestream promoting a brand, Bach Loc - a TV actress considered a new generation "historical goddess" - made a strong impression when wearing a sparkling dress designed by Vietnamese designer Tra Linh.
With a silver-blue color scheme and hand-applied gradient needlework, Bai Loc's tight-fitting dress helps the Chinese actress show off her slim figure, completely different from the reserved image often seen in Chinese female stars.
Previously, many Chinese artists such as Duong Tu, Trieu Le Dinh, Duong Mich... often chose elegant, less sexy, lightly cut and discreet styles in online events.
However, in this appearance, Bach Loc completely broke the mold with a long-tailed design and a slit at the waist, showing a new, slightly daring fashion sense, helping her shine charmingly in front of the livestream lens.
Sharing with Dan Tri, designer Tra Linh said that this dress was made by a team of 5 skilled artisans, under the supervision of the technical team leader. Each sequin (metallic) is attached entirely by hand, with more than 10,000 metallic details combined with small crystals, creating a shimmering movement effect like water waves under the light.
The highlight of the design lies in the asymmetrical fabric covering technique, which gently hugs the wearer's waist and hips. The main material is a high-quality mesh imported from Italy, covered entirely with color-changing sequins processed using the ombre vertical technique (vertical color transition), creating visual depth. The design took more than 120 hours to make and costs about 1,500 USD (nearly 40 million VND).
Designer Tra Linh is a veteran of the Vietnamese fashion industry.
