- Warm new homes
- Joy in the new home
Tan Loc commune authorities closely coordinate with departments, branches and organizations at all levels to mobilize human and material resources to join hands to support the elimination of temporary houses for poor and near-poor households and families in especially difficult circumstances.
Accordingly, the locality completed 51 houses for poor and near-poor households, including 25 policy households. This result is a testament to the high effort and determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Loc commune in achieving the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
Along with the whole province, Tan Loc commune has completed the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses ahead of schedule, handing over 100% of houses to poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households.
Ms. Mai Tu Nhi, Vice Chairman of Tan Loc Commune People's Committee, shared: "We have determined that ensuring stable and safe housing is an important premise to improve the material and spiritual life of the people. Therefore, we have mobilized all resources and volunteer groups to support and create conditions for people to quickly repair and build new houses, while ensuring the quality of the works, each house is spacious, solid and can be used for a long time."
For Mrs. Ho Thi Da (Hamlet 7, Tan Loc Commune), the dream of having a solid roof was always far away, but now it has become a reality. Mrs. Da emotionally shared: “My family only has two grandmothers and grandchildren, every rainy and stormy season we lose sleep because we are afraid the house will collapse. When the local authorities supported me, I was so happy I couldn’t speak. It’s been almost a month since I received the house, but I still can’t believe this is true.”
Sharing the same happiness, Mr. Huu Minh Ut, a resident of the same hamlet who just received the house, expressed: “Before, my family’s circumstances were very difficult, I never thought that one day I would be able to live in a decent house. When I received the house, my family was very happy because our place to live is now stable, now we are busy working to develop the economy .”
Implementing the Government 's policy has shown that the temporary housing elimination program not only solves the housing problem but also contributes significantly to sustainable poverty reduction and promotes the construction of advanced new rural areas. The newly built roofs are not only a place to shelter from the rain and sun, but also the beginning of a life-changing journey, a place to foster trust and strengthen community ties between local authorities and the people./.
