Care for the poor
The preliminary report of the first 6 months of 2025 of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee stated: Since the beginning of the year, the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations in the province have performed well their political functions and tasks, with many innovations in content and diversified methods of operation. At the same time, they have paid attention to doing well the work of giving opinions, supervising, and giving social criticism, grasping the situation of the people, participating in resolving emerging and prominent issues in society and the people. Patriotic emulation movements, major campaigns such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" and activities to care for the poor, social security... have developed extensively and received the support of the people.
Ms. Le Thi Hoang Oanh, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Song Cau Town, said: Implementing the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", the Fatherland Front Committee of the town and communes and wards have coordinated to review the subjects that need attention and care in the area. Accordingly, the whole town currently has 1,930 poor households, near-poor households and 895 other cases that are regularly cared for and cared for. Since the beginning of the year, the Fatherland Front at all levels has coordinated with local departments, branches and organizations to mobilize the community, businesses and philanthropists to present 6,289 gifts with a total value of more than 2.5 billion VND to poor households, near-poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances during holidays and Tet; presented 1,110 gifts to poor union members, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, orphans, children with especially severe disabilities... with a total value of more than 546 million VND.
Caring for poor, near-poor households and difficult cases is a regular and important activity of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels to help the poor overcome difficulties, improve their lives, and at the same time demonstrate the spirit of mutual love and responsibility of the community to join hands for the poor - leaving no one behind.

Carrying out this task, in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole province mobilized support for the Fund for the Poor at all levels with more than 67.84 billion VND, reaching more than 545% of the target. From the funds managed and mobilized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels organized visits and presented 95,484 gifts to poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in the province with a total value of more than 38.1 billion VND. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also disbursed 9.24 billion VND to support 462 households, with a support level of 20 million VND/household to implement economic development models in the localities of Son Hoa, Dong Xuan, Tuy An, Tay Hoa, Song Cau, Dong Hoa, Phu Hoa, Song Hinh and the Provincial Farmers' Association.
In particular, implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, the whole province has completed this humane program with 2,235 houses built. Of which, 1,448 houses were newly built and 787 houses were repaired. This is a vivid demonstration of the spirit of solidarity, sharing, responsibility and determination of the entire political system in caring for people's lives, strengthening people's trust in the Party and the State.
Create consensus to implement major policies
In recent times, from the central to local levels, there has been a common will and determination to implement the streamlining of the organizational apparatus, the arrangement of administrative units at all levels and the construction of a 2-level local government model. To contribute to the effective implementation of this policy, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has focused on conveying political messages, mobilizing people's awareness and organizing activities to support the government in implementing policies and guidelines.
From July 1, 2025, the front and socio-political organizations will operate smoothly under the new model. “Immediately after operating under the new organizational model, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State will closely follow their functions and tasks to synchronously deploy activities, paying attention to better performing the functions of supervision, social criticism, and giving opinions on Party building, acting as a solid bridge in the flesh-and-blood relationship of “The Party is for the people, the people trust the Party”. Diversify forms of propaganda and mobilization; strengthen the grasp of the people's situation and listen to the aspirations of people of all ethnic groups and religions; promote the role of exemplary individuals, prestigious people, and key forces in the community, ethnic groups, and religions in mobilizing to build the great national unity bloc. Thereby creating social consensus to well implement the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the policies and laws of the State, the province, and each locality”, suggested Comrade Tran Huu The, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
