On the morning of August 19, the inauguration and launching ceremony of Saigon Marina International Financial Center (Saigon Marina IFC) was held.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen; Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Pham Tien Dung; Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung and leaders of ministries, branches and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee attended the ceremony.
This is one of hundreds of key projects inaugurated and started to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and at the same time marks the starting milestone for the construction of the International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

Saigon Marina IFC Tower consists of 55 floors above ground and 5 basements. This is one of the 3 tallest towers in Vietnam, built by HDBank and its partners.
According to Resolution 222/2025 of the National Assembly , the establishment of an International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City is a long-term strategic orientation, aiming to turn the city into a destination for capital flows and regional financial activities.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc emphasized that Saigon Marina IFC is the first step in the roadmap to build the Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Center - a new development driving force for the entire Vietnamese economy, contributing to the country's strong development and deep integration with the world.

Many expectations for Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Center
Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Pham Tien Dung assessed that Saigon Marina IFC not only opens a working space for tens of thousands of financial experts, but is also a place to test modern financial models, develop digital economy, green finance, and connect domestic capital flows with international markets.
"The State Bank will continue to closely coordinate with ministries and branches to perfect the legal framework, while orienting the banking system to promote innovation, apply digital technology, promote green finance, and meet development requirements in the integration era," said Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dung.

Saigon Marina IFC Tower is not only a new architectural symbol of Ho Chi Minh City, but also the "heart" of the city - keeping the city's economic pulse strong, opening a new chapter for modern urban development and global integration.
In its strategic vision, the Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Center will be a place to concentrate capital, technology and human resources from financial institutions, banks, and large investment funds according to the industry cluster model; provide financial and banking services, deploy Fintech sandbox, promote innovation; at the same time, form international commodity and derivatives exchanges, develop supply chain services, logistics and seaports.
