Fully aware of the position, role, and importance of books and the significance of reading culture, in recent years, the Special Forces Corps in general and the Special Forces Officer School in particular have regularly paid attention to doing a good job of leadership and direction, determining good leadership policies, implementing and promoting propaganda activities to introduce books and the reading movement; investing in consolidating facilities, facilities, and equipment for libraries and reading rooms (there is 1 library combined with a reading room at the Corps level, 1 digital reading room of the Special Forces Officer School, 5 reading rooms at the Brigade level, 22 reading rooms combined with Ho Chi Minh rooms at the battalion level, 85 reading rooms combined with company-level activity rooms) to ensure the needs of reading, researching, learning, grasping knowledge, and promptly updating information of officers and soldiers in the entire Corps.

At the seminar, Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Ha, former Deputy Director of the Vietnam Military History Institute; Colonel, Dr. Tran Trong Tien, Political Commissar of the Special Forces Officer School and musician Ngoc Khue shared profound perspectives on national history, the value of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and especially the bravery, intelligence and heroic sacrifice of the Special Forces in wartime and peacetime. Through these stories, the young generation was strongly inspired by the spirit of historical pride, understanding the heroic sacrifices of previous generations for peace , thereby living more responsibly, knowing how to appreciate the value of independence and firmly believing in the future of the country.

Nearly 60 years of fighting, building and developing, the Special Forces always deeply remember the instructions of President Ho Chi Minh: “…Special Forces means special work, is a special honor, requires special efforts, special forces soldiers are especially trusted, any task, any special task must be completed and completed well. Any special difficulty must be overcome, must be overcome at all costs…”.

Delegates read books and newspapers displayed on the sidelines of the discussion.

Uncle Ho's instructions are not only a guideline for action but also a great source of spiritual motivation, regardless of sacrifice and hardship, training the steadfast fighting spirit and revolutionary spirit for many generations of Special Forces officers and soldiers. From that tradition, the Special Forces have had 105 groups, 227 individuals and especially the Special Forces were twice awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State, and were awarded 16 traditional golden words by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam: "Especially elite - Greatly heroic - Boldly resourceful - Dangerous fighting, great victory".

On this occasion, the Military Library donated 200 books and musician Ngoc Khue donated music to the Special Forces Officer School.
