(Fatherland) - The Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 took place with dozens of unique art programs that received the attention of many people and tourists.
Taking place from June 7 to 12, the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 with the theme "Cultural heritage with integration and development" gathered nearly 30 domestic and foreign art troupes, bringing to the audience dozens of art programs imbued with cultural identity from many different regions around the world .
The art programs blend in the ancient space of a cultural capital with 8 heritages honored by UNESCO. Hue - Vietnam's Festival City is still shining with the vitality of a green, environmentally friendly and sustainably developed urban area.
According to the Hue Festival Organizing Committee, with 12 main programs, 24 art performances on stages and nearly 10 response, accompanying, display and exhibition activities taking place continuously in the province. The activities in the Hue International Arts Festival Week have attracted a large audience.
Specifically, the "Opening Ceremony" program in front of Ngo Mon Gate attracted nearly 2,000 spectators.

The “Cultural Colors” street festival is estimated to attract about 20,000 spectators over two days on the North and South banks of Hue city.
Performances by domestic and international art troupes with 20 shows at 2 community stages serving 30,000 audiences.
The National School Beer Stage alone is very crowded with fans coming to watch the shows of famous bands, with an average of 2,000 to nearly 3,000 spectators per show.
Despite being affected by heavy rain, the Music Program “Trinh Cong Son Dialogue – Love Found” still attracted about 5,000 spectators.
The Lantern Festival attracted nearly 4,000 visitors; the Vegetarian Food Festival served more than 5,000 guests over 2 days and nights; the Royal Banquet and the Royal Night Food Show were designed in the high-end service segment, serving about 350 VIP guests.
The Light Festival at Thai Binh Lau and Thieu Phuong Garden (Hue Imperial City) attracted more than 10,000 visitors.
The Beer Festival had over 10,000 live audiences and 50,000 simultaneous livestream views on the Facebook Fanpage system.
The "Tam Giang Waves" Festival with a series of activities taking place over 2 days and nights is estimated to have about 15,000 spectators attending.
The art program "Returning to Hue Festival" (closing the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024) had about 6,000 spectators attending and tens of thousands of indirect viewers at Ngo Mon Square.
In addition, response activities also attracted a large number of visitors such as: Contemporary dance art program "Reflection" by artist Xuan Le - France, exhibition "Festival Painting Street 2024", exhibition "Fine Arts and Heritage III", exhibition "Buddhist Culture - Hue Festival 2024", photo exhibition "Towards the 2024 Paris Olympics!"...
During the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024, the Complex of Hue Monuments welcomed 54,500 visitors. Of which, 7,695 were international visitors and 46,805 were Vietnamese visitors. Revenue was estimated at 8 billion VND.
According to statistics from the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province, from June 7 to June 12, 2024, the total number of visitors to the locality is estimated at 101,000, revenue from tourism services is estimated at 159 billion VND. The number of guests staying is estimated at 49,000 (including nearly 9,310 international guests), the average hotel room occupancy rate is 70%.
At the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024, more than 565 domestic and international artists, musicians, singers, actors, and a large number of artists, extras, students, etc. participated in displaying the uniqueness, sophistication, and diversity of art forms, and gave their all on stage to bring the audience an artistic feast filled with cultural identity, expressing the desire for a world of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development among nations.
