According to Mr. Tran Thanh Vinh, Director of Dak Glei District ContinuingEducation Center, the female student who was forced to kneel and slapped in the face by her friends in the clip is MT, a 10th grade student at this center. On the evening of March 27, taking advantage of the absence of security guards, a group of female students from another school in the area sneaked into the dormitory of Dak Glei District Continuing Education Center and took turns assaulting female student MT. After that, female student MT called her family to pick her up.
Upon discovering the incident, the Dak Glei District Continuing Education Center reported the incident to the Dak Glei District People's Committee and requested the district police to investigate the cause of the incident.
Female student MT said that she and her group of friends had previously had conflicts with each other on social networks.
