Many events at Van Phuc Culture, Tourism and Trade Week

Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of November 22, in Van Phuc ward, the People's Committee of Ha Dong district coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Tourism to hold a press conference on the implementation of the 2024 Craft Village Culture - Tourism - Trade Week in Van Phuc ward, with the theme: "Ha Dong Silk Hometown - Convergence of quintessence".

Mr. Nguyen Van Du - Chairman of Van Phuc Ward People's Committee said: Van Phuc Craft Village Culture - Tourism - Trade Week 2024 (Cultural Week) is an activity to encourage all classes of people to promote heroic traditions, successfully implement the socio -economic development plan, targets and tasks in 2024, compete to make practical achievements to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Ha Dong's founding, 70th anniversary of Ha Dong Liberation Day, 70th anniversary of Capital Liberation Day, 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and major anniversaries in 2024.

This is an opportunity for Van Phuc ward in particular and Ha Dong district in general to strengthen tourism promotion activities, introduce to tourists the diverse local industry activities, contributing to enhancing the position, image and people of Van Phuc, Ha Dong, Hanoi .

The Cultural Week is organized into 3 parts, including the ceremony with the theme "Connecting heritage - relics", with the content of the Procession to honor the founder of Van Phuc Silk Village, organizing the spiritual procession of the craft village culture, dragon dance, lion dance, palanquin procession. The festival part with the Opening Ceremony and cultural activities, arts, folk games will take place throughout the week at different locations throughout the ward to attract tourists to the craft village. The music program with performances by professional singers and actors.

The Art Festival program "Imprints of Van Phuc Silk Weaving - Ha Dong" is an art program presented as a story about the traditional silk weaving profession of Van Phuc since Thanh Hoang A La De Nuong passed on the profession to the people of Van Phuc, through the ups and downs of history until today.

In addition, the Cultural Week also organizes mass cultural performances, with cultural programs at the Silk Center and commercial streets performed by schools, clubs, residential groups and organizations in the ward to create a vibrant atmosphere to attract tourists.

The trade - craft village part is organized at the "Cultural space of traditional craft villages" with commercial activities at many different locations in the ward to promote Van Phuc silk products and other types of business services for domestic and international tourism such as organizing Silk Street and activities to promote craft village brands...

The Cultural Week will take place for 7 days, from November 30 to December 6, 2024 in Van Phuc ward.
