At the conference, the Hai Phong City Party Executive Committee focused on giving opinions and unanimously approved many important projects, laying the foundation for the effective operation of the political apparatus after the city was reorganized according to the new model.
The conference discussed and approved projects on the organization and staff of the advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee; the project to merge the Party Committees at the grassroots level; the project to merge the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council; the project to merge specialized agencies under the City People's Committee; the project to merge public service units; the project to merge press and media agencies; the project to merge political schools of Hai Phong City and Hai Duong Province.
The delegates unanimously approved the Project and decided to establish 4 grassroots Party Committees directly under the City Party Committee, including: Party Committees of City Party agencies, City People's Committee Party Committee, City Police Party Committee, City Military Party Committee. The Secretary of the City Party Committee assigned the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to issue regulations on functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the above agencies. The decision appointed the Executive Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Inspection Committee, Chairman, and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term of the above 4 Party Committees.
In addition, the conference also unanimously approved the draft Working Regulations of the Hai Phong City Party Executive Committee, new term 2020-2025.

Concluding the conference, Hai Phong City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau emphasized: The approval of the above projects is an important step to perfect the organizational apparatus and improve the quality of operations of the city's political system after the reorganization.
Along with that, the Secretary of the City Party Committee also requested the members of the City Party Executive Committee to continue to promote their exemplary role, closely follow the assigned areas, promptly detect and remove difficulties and problems arising in the process of operating the new organizational model.
“The early completion of the organizational structure and personnel restructuring project is a necessary preparation step for the city to effectively implement the socio-economic development tasks in the new period. The Hai Phong City Party Committee needs to clearly identify the requirement of “not leaving a power vacuum, not interrupting service to the people and businesses,” the Secretary emphasized.
