Many policies to support housing and travel for officials after the merger in Quang Ngai

On July 15, at the 2nd session of the 13th Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, delegates discussed and passed a resolution stipulating special support policies on housing and travel for cadres, civil servants and public employees after the province's merger.

The subjects of the policy are cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers working at Party, State, Fatherland Front agencies, socio-political organizations, provincial-level public service units, and those working at mass organizations assigned by the Party and State at the provincial level in Kon Tum province (formerly), who are now transferred to work at administrative centers of Quang Ngai province.

In particular, armed forces units and central agencies organized vertically are not subject to this policy.

The support policy is specifically regulated, accordingly, supporting travel and working conditions, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers subject to the application are supported with travel and working conditions at the rate of 3 million VND/person/month.

Officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee who have been arranged official housing and supported to rent a house while waiting for official housing arrangement will be supported with travel and working conditions at the rate of 1.6 million VND/person/month.

In case of not continuing to enjoy the policy of arranging public housing and the policy of supporting house rental during the time waiting for the arrangement of public housing, they will enjoy the policy of supporting travel and working conditions at the rate of 3 million VND/person/month until July 1, 2027.

The period of enjoying the policy of public housing arrangement starts from September 1, 2025 until the time of no longer being arranged. The policy of supporting travel and work is applied from July 1, 2025 to July 1, 2027.

About 1,163 officials, civil servants and public employees of Kon Tum province (formerly) have arrived in Quang Ngai province to work since July 1.
