According to the leader, when he wins the upcoming second round of elections, Türkiye's future "will be viewed in a different way".

In addition, President Erdogan confirmed that one of the main tasks his administration pursues is to build and adopt the country's new Constitution.

"We will evaluate within our party coalition, do the necessary work. There will be a dialogue between the parties, looking for consensus," he said.

In the presidential election on May 14, President Erdogan won 49.35% of the votes, while his main opponent Kemal Kilicdaroglu of the National Coalition and the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) had 45% of the votes.

Voter turnout reached a record high of 88.84%. According to Turkish law, since no candidate won more than 50% of the vote, incumbent President Erdogan and Mr. Kilicdarogu will enter the second round of elections, scheduled for May 28.

Meanwhile, with 99.9% of votes counted, parliamentary election results showed that the People's Alliance led by President Erdogan's Justice and Development Party (AKP) won 321 out of 600 seats.

Recently, on May 22, candidate Sinan Ogan, who finished third in the first round of the Turkish presidential election, announced his support for incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the second round.

With 5.17% of voters supporting him in the first round, which candidate Mr. Sinan Ogan supports in the second round is likely to be decisive.

This year's presidential election is of great significance, a turning point in the past 100 years in Türkiye.

It not only determines the leader, but also affects future decisions in managing the country, solving the cost of living crisis, and shaping the foreign policy of this NATO member country in the coming period.
