Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Deputy Director of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, said that it is expected to award 30 "elite talent" scholarships, each worth 500 million VND, to students of the next course.
Scholarships are awarded to candidates who pass the direct admission process, including those who participate in the International Olympic team selection exam; win third prize or higher in the national excellent student exam in Math, Physics, and Information Technology; or score 29/30 or higher in the high school graduation exam.
The scholarship package includes tuition, dormitory fees and living expenses, scientific research funding, overseas internships, support from partner businesses and some other expenses. Of these, students receive living expenses at the rate of 3.6 million VND. The condition for maintaining the scholarship is that the average score is excellent or higher (3.2/4).

Candidates choose Method 1: Talent selection (priority selection) and fill out the online application form at the website: https://xettuyen.ptit.edu.vn.
Step 2: Print the Registration Form and request confirmation from the high school where the candidate is studying or the local police station where the candidate is residing.
Step 3: Prepare complete application documents for direct registration as required in section II.4 above.
Step 4: Submit the application for admission by express mail or guaranteed delivery to the Academy's training facility addresses (Application submission time is calculated according to the postmark).
Time to announce the results of direct admission and priority admission: Before 5:00 p.m. on July 15, 2025.
Candidates who are directly admitted must continue to register for NVXT on the System according to the general schedule from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2025.
Candidates who are directly admitted according to the announcement of the Academy must confirm their admission online on the System from August 22 to 5:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025.
This year, the Academy will recruit 6,680 students for both campuses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Five selection methods include: talent selection; based on international certificates; test scores to assess capacity and thinking; high school graduation exam scores; combining English certificates with academic records.
Tuition fees at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology are around 29.6 to 37.6 million VND for the standard program. This is an increase of 2.6 to 3.6 million VND compared to the current level. For the high-quality program, tuition fees are around 49.2 to 55 million VND per year, while international joint programs are 54 to 62.5 million VND.
In 2024, the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology will have a benchmark score of 18 to 26.4, with the highest being in Information Technology.
This is the total score of three graduation exams plus priority points (if any). Compared to last year, the entrance to the Information Technology industry decreased slightly - 0.15 points.
Other majors with input scores above 26 points are Computer Science (26.31 points), E-commerce (26.09), Control and Automation Engineering (26.08).
In the Northern headquarters, most of the remaining industries took over 24 points, generally not much fluctuation compared to last year.
With the southern campus, the benchmark score ranges from 18 to 25.17, with Information Technology still the highest. The two majors with 18 are Internet of Things (IoT) Technology and High-Quality Marketing.
