Born of sacrifice
Born in 1997 in Phu Tho , Thao Trang is the youngest in a family of 5 sisters.
Once a Literature teacher, Thao Trang's mother was on the rise in her career with promotion opportunities when she decided to have a fifth child and gave up her career plans to focus on taking care of her family.
"I am always grateful that my mother sacrificed her career to give birth to me. Since I was little, I was always gossiped about when I went out, so I put pressure on myself to study really well, to excel, to prove to everyone that my mother was right in giving birth to me," Thao Trang shared.
Before smartphones, her father turned off the TV at 8pm so that his children could focus on studying. "When a Thai Dream car was a fortune, my father said he wouldn't buy land to buy a car to take his children to university entrance exams," Thao Trang said.
12 years of excellent student journey and K-pop dream
With strong motivation from her family and herself, Thao Trang was an excellent student throughout 12 years of school. She graduated from Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted (Phu Tho), won many national medals, provincial and district-level excellent student awards in English and Literature.
"I studied all subjects equally rather than excelling in a particular subject. Therefore, I was accepted into most excellent student teams, including natural subjects. I especially liked studying Maths but in the end I chose to major in English to adapt to social needs," she shared.
She once memorized an entire English test preparation book, rewriting each difficult grammar sentence at least 10-20 times to remember it.
Thao Trang also has a great passion for K-pop and Korean culture and expressing her love is learning and researching about it. She taught herself Korean in just 1 year and achieved TOPIK 4 on her first try.
Thanks to her academic achievements, Thao Trang was introduced to work at the Ministry of Education and Training from October 2020 to July 2023. However, after nearly 3 years of working, Thao Trang felt the need for a change. She decided to switch to real estate because she wanted to earn money to open her own business one day. Knowing that the real estate sales profession is very difficult and the rate of elimination is fast and strong, she still wanted to try it.
Extroverted work but introverted life
Thao Trang always tries to balance her busy life and find herself. She considers herself an extrovert but an introvert. The way to balance her life is simply to separate herself from the bustling world and learn to be quiet, to listen to herself.

Not only focusing on her career, Thao Trang also actively participates in social activities. She is a mentor of a non-governmental project that gathers students from top universities to participate in volunteer activities such as teaching English to poor children. Recently, she received an invitation to be an ambassador for the non-profit project Mam xanh trien nui to raise funds to plant forests to create livelihoods for people in mountainous areas.
When deciding to participate in Miss Earth Vietnam 2025, Thao Trang considered this not exactly a competition but a place where she could shine. The message she brought to the contest clearly reflected her philosophy of life: "True beauty lies not only in appearance but also in each person's commitment to the sustainable development of humanity."
