In 2018, he started making ship models. At first, they were small models made of foam; gradually, the products were refined and became more precise. "I work in the sound and lighting rental business. Having the opportunity to travel here and there, seeing ship and boat models on display, my passion arose, so I learned to make them myself," Mr. De said.

To complete the product, he learned from acquaintances about the operating principles of the controller, receiver, wave receiving device, and speed control. Then, he researched on social networks, improving the hull material with composite glue to make the boat compact and easy to move. While working, researching, and finding suitable materials, by 2020, he had completed the first composite boat with a controller running on the water surface.

According to Mr. De, the raw materials used to make the ship are composite plastic and pima plastic. Thanks to that, the ship has a durability of over 7 years. The most difficult part in making a remote-controlled aircraft carrier model is that each step requires testing and selecting materials and components many times.

To date, he has made more than 40 remote-controlled toy ships of various sizes and models, such as: aircraft carriers, Titanic, cruise ships, cargo ships, cruisers, remote-controlled patrol boats, yachts, etc.
Each ship takes him 45 days or more to complete.
Mr. De makes ship models in many sizes, at a scale of 1/100 compared to the real version. There are aircraft carriers he makes with a size of over 3 meters, which can move stably on the water surface.
