The state budget supports more than 1 billion VND to link the consumption of passion fruit products in Huong Hoa.

Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong has just signed a decision approving the Plan for linking consumption of passion fruit products of Tan Hop Agricultural Production, Trading and Service Cooperative (Tan Hop Agricultural Cooperative), Huong Hoa district.

Accordingly, the budget for implementing the plan is more than 1.3 billion VND, of which the state budget supports more than 1 billion VND, the remaining amount is from the participating parties, including the group of households growing and supplying passion fruit products in Tan Linh village (Huong Tan commune), the villages: Dai Do, Phung Lam, Cop, Huong Hai, Doa Cu, Ma Lai Pun, Huong Phu, Cheng (Huong Phung commune). The participating groups of households are supported with training on techniques for caring for, fertilizing and managing pests and diseases of passion fruit; support for passion fruit seedlings, fertilizers, biological products, pesticides, and support for costs of developing and managing the linkage plan.

The project was carried out in Huong Tan and Huong Phung communes, with a scale of 35 hectares of passion fruit with a total of 42 participating households.

The period of financial support for implementing the linkage plan is 2024; the period of implementation, monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of the linkage plan is 5 years from 2024 to 2029.

The implementation of the passion fruit product consumption linkage plan of Tan Hop Agricultural Cooperative will help increase productivity and yield of passion fruit, improve economic efficiency per unit area, increase income, and contribute to sustainable poverty reduction for households, especially poor and near-poor households in remote communes of Huong Hoa district.
