The highest temperature recorded in Dong Phu, Dong Xoai ( Binh Phuoc ) was 38 degrees Celsius. In Tai Lai (Dong Nai) it was 37.8 degrees Celsius and Tri An (Dong Nai) it was 37.5 degrees Celsius. In Vinh Long it was 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest humidity ranged from 35 - 55%.

In the next 1-2 days, heat waves will occur widely, with some areas experiencing severe heat. The highest temperature could reach 39 degrees Celsius in Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai. Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces could experience heat waves of up to 38 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City is hot at 37 degrees Celsius, but the traffic is crowded and the production facilities are the most in the country, causing the outdoor temperature to be much higher than the meteorological temperature. According to many people, in recent days, the actual outdoor temperature in Ho Chi Minh City has often exceeded 40 degrees Celsius, even reaching 42 - 43 degrees Celsius.

In the Mekong Delta, the provinces of Long An , Dong Thap, An Giang, Can Tho, and Vinh Long may also record temperatures of up to 37 degrees Celsius. The remaining localities will range from 35 - 36 degrees Celsius.

The heat lasts from early morning to late afternoon, with a total of more than 8 hours of sunshine per day. The most intense heat starts from 10am to 4pm. This is the peak period of heat in the South and will last for many days. People need to pay attention to protecting their health and preventing fires and explosions.
